Join in on a challenge that will be fun, collaborative and individual all at once. This challenge "whispers" loudly when we get lots of participants; please join in!
Participants (set up in groups of 4) will get the opportunity to make one 12"x12" quilt in one of the 4 months of the challenge. Your creation will be inspired by an image from a group member -- make what it "whispers" to you!
Specific instructions on the process will be provided after sign up deadline.
The 4 quilts in your Whisper Group will be shown as a set at the Modern Threads Exhibit during our DeStash Event July 30 and August 1, 2026

Join our foundation paper piecing (FPP) group, on the first Sunday of each month, as we work through an FPP block of the month, or other FPP pattern, from the comfort and convenience of your own sewing room. Wherever you are in your quilt piecing journey, from learner to teacher, you are welcome to join and participate, or just show up and have a look for yourself.

Drop in anytime from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the second Saturday of every month. Come for a quick break and conversation time, or schedule some solid Saturday hours to finally get that quilt project finished. Relax and chat, or buckle down and meet your contest deadline. (Or get movie reviews and book reports while you're cleaning up your sewing area!)
This is a great way to meet and get to know, or get reacquainted with guild members. (And their dogs and cats!)
