Sketch to Stitch

In this 3-day workshop we will begin by exploring several techniques for making drawings. We will make line drawings using crayons and markers. We will investigate digital formats such as Procreate and Photoshop and our cell phones. You will choose your favorite drawing and make it into a large quilt! Learn methods for transferring a drawing to your design wall and various construction techniques to best capture the essence of your original sketch.

Your instructor is Irene Roderick.

At QuiltCon 2020 Irene won first place in the Improvisation Category for her “Line Drawing Landscape”.

The workshop will run from 9am-4pm with an hour lunch break.
Member price is $210.
Price is $250 for the three days for non-members.
Cancellations will be allowed if the reservation can be filled by another attendee.
