Practice your patchwork improv scales, with variations on a theme. On Day 1 transform the classic flying geese block through a series of pattern variations. Learn how to improvise, explore, and shift the pattern by listening to internal cues. Gain a deeper sense of how patterns evolve uniquely through your mind and hand.
On Day 2 arrange and commit your variations to create a dynamic composition, through the discovery of bleeds, natural fits, and unexpected twists and turns, by responding to the quilt story as it unfolds.
